We invite you into a visual escape as IXIAH’s Co-Founder & Creative Director Krystel takes us through her recent trip exploring the isles of Indonesia for business and pleasure with her family in tow.

- WHAT CAPTIVATED YOU ABOUT BALI?

My recent trip to Bali was an enchanting blend of work and leisure. I stumbled upon an extraordinary location that proved to be the ideal canvas for showcasing our exquisite Resort Collection. It allowed me to seize the opportunity for quality family moments amidst our creative pursuits.

For our stays in Bali, we prefer the elegance of private villas. With our two boys in tow, it’s a delightful way for us all to be together, enjoying the convenience of a pool and having a luxurious home base.

- EXPLORING THE ENCHANTING GEMS OF BALI

Bali is a treasure trove of wonders, with over 300 surrounding islands waiting to be discovered and explored. As my boys grow older, I eagerly anticipate exploring more of these captivating destinations. During this trip, we started our adventure in vibrant Canggu. Despite its bustling nature, it provided the perfect setting for two of our IXIAH photo shoots. We relished the time spent at La Brisa, immersing ourselves in its inviting pools, exploring local markets, and admiring breathtaking sunsets. Among the plethora of exceptional dining options, Shelter, Penny Lane, and Mason hold a special place in our hearts.

Our journey then led us to the serene Nusa Lembongan, a small island adorned with idyllic white sandy beaches and abundant local seafood restaurants. Nestled in a beach resort with a pool shaded by a sea of palm trees, we indulged in daily snorkeling excursions, leisurely beach discoveries, and even swam alongside majestic manta rays. An enchanting pontoon floating on the turquoise sea beckoned us, providing a tranquil and relaxing escape.

Next on our itinerary was Uluwatu, a cherished haven in Bali. This laid-back destination, slightly less bustling than Canggu, welcomed us with a Tuscan-inspired villa perched atop a cliff near Padang Padang Beach. Our days were spent revealing in the beauty of Padang Padang and Thomas Beach, while low tide enticed us to the Ulu cliff rock pools, teeming with mesmerising sealife. As the sun gently descended, we relished in invigorating swims. Lazy days at Single Fin, leisurely lunches at Ulu Cliffhouse, and a delightful day at Sundays Beach Club added to the allure of

Canggu: Shelter, Mason, and Penny Lane captured our palates with their exceptional offerings.

Nusa Lembongan: Obamas and the local warungs impressed us with their culinary delights.

Uluwatu: Ulu Cliffhouse, Mason, Ulu Garden and Artisan, and Suka Espresso catered to our gastronomic desires.

Travel has always been a boundless source of inspiration for me. The vivid colours, captivating scents, and rich cultures ignite my creative spirit. Every journey breathes new life into my creative process, and Bali was no exception. It invigorated me, inspiring a fresh wave of design inspiration.
