IXIAH ICON: CHARIS PIXIE
Meet Charis. A genuine, down-to-earth gypsy at heart who loves to travel and adores fashion. We wanted to get to know this genuine IXIAH goddess a little more so we asked her a few questions...

- What inspires you?

Artwork, Fashion, Travel, Music

- Who inspires you?
People just going for it and living their dreams and not worrying about the consequences. Something I’m trying really hard to do at the moment.

- What’s on your bucket list?
I really want to travel to India; I’m actually 1/4 Indian and have family out there that I’ve never met plus the culture would be amazing to experience, fingers crossed I get to go there next year.

- Best piece of advice you have been given?
It’s not exactly a piece of advice, but I love this quote I found (not even sure who it’s by):
‘Don’t sit around waiting for someone to validate you or discover you. You were put on this earth to leave a lasting legacy and you don’t have time to wait around for someone else’s approval. You already have the permission you need to be great. Get on your way - make magic’

Also another amazing piece of advice I was given was that everything will happen when you least expect it to so just focus on yourself and living your life and everything will eventually fall into place.

- Fave travel destination? and why?
Definitely Greece! I love the culture and the food plus there are so many beautiful untouched islands. I could happily retire in a little fishing village there.

- One of your best childhood memories?
I think one of my favourites was that one summer holiday I just spent all my time up at the field with our horses, sitting in the back of the horse trailer reading and writing stories, whilst the two horses tried to get in the trailer with me; there’s definitely a photo somewhere. I was a massive tom boy, I used to climb trees and just sit in them for hours reading.

- What does style mean to you?
I think style is a way that you can truly express yourself and something you can be creative with one day and then more simple the next. My style has evolved so much over the years (I used to have some strange fashion choices). But it also definitely reflects my mood and how I’m feeling. I’m trying really hard to wear more colour at the moment, especially coming into summer as I have a very black wardrobe.

- Your girl crush(s)?
